Subsequent Events |
Pursuant to FASB ASC 855, Management has evaluated all events and transactions that occurred from December 31, 2015 through the date of issuance of these financial statements. During this period, we did not have any significant subsequent events, except as disclosed below:
On January 27, 2016 a holder of 60 preferred shares converted the shares into 60,000 common shares of the Company.
On February 18, 2016, Genius Brands International, Inc entered into a distribution agreement with Sony Pictures Home Entertainment Inc. pursuant to which the Company agreed to grant Sony certain rights for the marketing and distribution of the Companys animated feature-length motion pictures and animated television series in the United States and in Canada, and potentially additional countries. In connection with the agreement the Company received a $2,000,000 advance. |
