Deferred Revenue | Deferred RevenueAs of March 31, 2023 and December 31, 2022, the Company had total short term and long term deferred revenue of $9.7 million and $12.4 million, respectively. The decrease in deferred revenue is primarily related to productions on various shows nearing completion of the project as of March 31, 2023, compared to the progress as of December 31, 2022. Wow's deferred revenue balance relates to cash received from customers for productions in progress. Revenue is fully recognized upon production completion. Deferred revenue also includes both (i) variable fee contracts with licensees and customers in which the Company collected advances and minimum guarantees against future royalties and (ii) fixed fee contracts.
